The gala will take place on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at The Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach.“We are thrilled to have Trish and Richard Rendina as our 2017 Gala Chairmen,” said Pamela Payne, LLS Executive Director. “We are privileged that they have chosen to accept this leadership position for the second year in a row and to continue to support the lifesaving mission of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.”Annual Black Tie Gala guests will sip on poolside cocktails while bidding on an enticing silent auction with world-class items. The cocktail hour will be a prelude to an unforgettable experience in the grand ballroom. Gourmet dining, an incredible live auction and scintillating entertainment from the Steven Chase Band will keep guests on their feet and dancing the night away.Richard Rendina is Chairman and CEO of Rendina Healthcare Real Estate, where he has led all strategic and operational functions of the company since December 2006. Richard had personally overseen the development and acquisition of more than 1.6 million square feet of healthcare real estate in 12 states, representing project costs of approximately $325 million. In addition to serving as Chairman of the Annual Black Tie Gala, Richard, a Non-Hodgkin lymphoma survivor, is a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Board of Trustees, the Abacoa Property Owners’ Assembly and the Rendina Family Foundation.All proceeds from the Annual Black Tie Gala will benefit LLS’s mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
