We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share information only as follows:
We may share aggregated or de-identified information (for example, total funds raised or number of attendees) with the organizations we support and in our public communications. This information does not identify you.
What cookies are. Cookies are small text files a website places on your device. They help the site work and help us understand how visitors use it.
Cookies we use.
Google Analytics. Google Analytics uses cookies (such as _ga and _ga_<ID>) that may remain on your device for up to two years. Google processes this information under its own privacy policy. You can learn more at How Google uses information from sites that use its services and opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
No advertising cookies. We do not use advertising, retargeting, or social-media tracking pixels on the Site, and we do not use cookies to sell or share your information for targeted advertising.
Your choices. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking strictly necessary or embedded cookies may prevent parts of the Site, including registration and donation pages, from working. The Site does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals.
We publicly thank our sponsors by name and logo in event programs, signage, on the Site, and on social media. Sponsors grant us permission to do so as part of their sponsorship. If we list individual donors or attendees, we will honor any request to be listed anonymously; contact us before the event or at any time afterward.
We keep personal information as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy. Donation and payment records are generally retained for at least seven years to meet tax and accounting requirements. If you opt out of texts, we keep a record of your opt-out so we do not message you again.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, and we rely on payment partners that comply with Payment Card Industry (PCI) security standards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
The Site links to services we do not control, including OneCause and Stripe. Their privacy policies govern information you provide to them. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date above shows when it last changed, and material changes will be posted on this page.
